Meghan Markle & Royals Celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th Birthday With Stunning Family Portraits

Clarence House released two new images Tuesday to mark Prince Charles' 70th birthday on November 14.

Grandpa Wales, as he is known by his brood, holds his first-born grandson, Prince George, five, on his knee, as the young prince, dressed in knee-high socks, shorts and loafers, smiles before bursting into laughter at something out of shot.

The pictures were taken by Chris Jackson of Getty Images on the grounds of Clarence House.

Fashionable sisters-in-law Kate and Meghan star alongside their royal family in two new portraits released to mark Prince Charles' 70th birthday, and their unique senses of style are perfectly on display.

The photo, posted to Twitter by Clarence House on Tuesday, shows the Prince of Wales in the gardens of Clarence House with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall; Prince William; Kate, Duchess of Cambridge; Prince George; Princess Charlotte; Prince Louis; Prince Harry; and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, in London, England.

Prince Louis, Charles's youngest grandchild was born on St George's Day, April 23 just three weeks before his youngest son, Prince Harry, married Meghan Markle at the Chapel of St George.

Brexit Deal Possible In Next 24-48 Hours, Says PM May's Deputy
Political leaders in Northern Ireland have given a mixed reaction to a deal being agreed in the Brexit negotiations. David Lidington, her effective deputy, also said a deal was " almost within touching distance ".

The photographs showcase a new side to Charles that the public doesn't often see, and there's no denying he looks right at home playing the role of grandfather.

He said: "I think he does have time for it, but I would like him to have more time with the children".

Baby Louis, who is six months old, looks happy and content in the photos and has nearly grown a full head of hair, while his big brother, five-year-old George, dangles his long legs either side of his grandfather's knee.

"For him that's a fantastic opportunity to step up and be that support, and you know he's our father so of course he's gonna be there for us".

The public is also getting a glimpse of life behind palace walls through a collaboration between Clarence House and Google Arts & Culture.

The project also includes photos and videos from Charles' personal collection on his milestone birthday.
