Aamir Khan's "Thugs Of Hindostan" started off on a record-breaking note but has witnessed a tremendous fall in the occupancy in theatres in the following days, which has affected its box office collections at large.

Trade website Box Office India said the film has made around Rs 122.50 crore in net box office collections across the country so far and should close the week at Rs 135 crore. Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs Of Hindostan is bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under the banners of Yash Raj Films.

Despite being the biggest opener of 2018 by raking in Rs 52 crore (including Tamil and Telugu-dubbed versions) on its opening day, the numbers at the box office are deteriorating with each passing day. However, it many Bollywood pundits predict that the film will wrap under Rs 150 crore. The Amit Ravindernath Sharma directorial had crossed the Rs 50 crore-mark within six days of its release and scored its position into the Rs 100 crore-club on Day 17. The quirky family drama presented by Junglee Pictures in association with Chrome Pictures also stars Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles.
