"I was delighted to have been asked to take these portraits of The Prince of Wales surrounded by his family to celebrate the important milestone of his 70th Birthday", said the photographer.

Clarence House released two new images Tuesday to mark Prince Charles' 70th birthday on November 14.

The man holds his grandson Prince George, 5, on his knee while his three year old sister, Princess Charlotte, sits next to Camilla on the bench.

The pic, and several others like it, are the spitting image of Prince Harry's current full-bearded look.

While it may appear the duchesses are "best friends", royal experts have dubbed. the pair the "new Fergie and Diana" because of the way they have been "thrown together".

Prince Charles has marked his 70th birthday by attending a special tea party heralding 70 inspirational people who also turned 70 this year.

Celebrations have been taking place in honour of his birthday, including a BBC documentary Prince, Son, Heir: Charles at 70 and the We Are Most Amazed and Amused concert hosted by ITV.

Being honest, little Prince Louis is the real star of the show. It gave fans the first glimpse of the young prince since his christening and the indication that there would be more family photos to come.

In this early 1950s photo, Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are seen with their eldest children - Prince Charles, shown at left, and Princess Anne, shown at right.

Prince Charles dotes on Prince Louis in a new photo released by Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Cambridge was seen a polka dot midi dress, holding her six months old son, Prince Louis.

"He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making amusing noises and laughing", Camilla says in the documentary of how Charles interacts with her grandchildren. He was feted with a Garden Party shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding and a gala concert at Buckingham Palace celebrating his patronage of the arts.
