Caris LeVert of Brooklyn Nets suffers dislocated right foot

The good news for LeVert is that he will not need to undergo surgery, and he is expected to return to on-court action this season.

Following the injury, the National Basketball Association world took to Twitter in order to send positive thoughts in LeVert's direction.

One day after being taken out of a game for falling badly on his knee, Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Caris LeVert suffered a horrific injury during a game agains the Minnesota Timberwolves on November 12. LeVert was rushed to a local hospital while his teammates finished the game, many in tears and several fully expecting him to miss the rest of the season.

The pain of every injury worsens when it comes at the most unfortunate time. No surgery is needed, and he is expected to return this season. The guard had multiple injuries while at MI, which led to him falling out of the lottery. The 24-year-old guard has emerged as their go-to player, the foundation of their rebuild, and had been garnering early All-Star buzz.

LeVert was enjoying a breakout season for the Nets, averaging career-highs in points (19), rebounds (4.2), steals (1.3) and minutes (30.8).
