"I felt like I failed because I didn't know how common miscarriages were because we don't talk about them", the former first lady said in an interview broadcast on ABC's Good Morning America.

She also said she was in shock when Trump won his presidency and tried to block it out.

Before eviscerating Trump, though, Obama discusses her childhood, from growing up in a "cramped apartment on the South Side of Chicago" to how she struggled with her perception as an "angry" black woman.

During the intimate conversation, she also revealed that she conceived her daughters, Malia and Sasha, through IVF.

"Marriage counseling for us was one of those ways where we learned how to talk out our differences", Michelle Obama informed Roberts.

In 2011, Donald Trump and other so-called "birthers" were questioning whether Barack Obama was a US citizen.

Mrs Obama also accuses Mr Trump of using body language to "stalk" Mrs Clinton during a presidential election debate. Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk.

The pain a mother feels for her lost child can never equal to any pain an ordinary person would feel.

Trump responded in expected fashion saying he'd never forgive Barack "for what he did to our U.S. military" as President. Obama is launching a book tour to at the United Center on Tuesday to promote her memoir "Becoming", a tour featuring arenas and other performing centers to accommodate crowds likely far too big for any bookstore.
