Kim Kardashian forced to flee her home amid Woolsey Canyon wildfire

"Just landed back home and I had one hour to pack up and evacuate our home". "I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires", Kourtney wrote in her own Instagram stories.

TMZ reported that West and Kardashian have evacuated their security team as the fire approaches their property.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department tweeted that the fire was headed to the ocean, punctuating the message with the declaration: "Imminent threat!"

The City of Calabasas Twitter account wrote that they were evacuating everyone from the area and those surrounding, such as Hidden Hills and Aguora Hills. I pray everyone is safe'.

Melissa Etheridge was also forced to evacuate, and tweeted that she was safe in Santa Monica.

Aside from Calabasas, the Woolsey fire has forced many residents from Westlake Village, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura to evacuate.

As of Friday morning, more than 20 million people from Southern California to Northern California were under red flag warnings due to several wildfires across the state.

The Kardashian/West family live just around 13 miles from Thousand Oaks, where the night after a mass shooting left 12 dead, fires have threatened to rip through the community.

It was only earlier today that her sister Khloe Kardashian shared her fear over the rapid flames. On Instagram, she posted a photo showing a clear blue sky with a billowing gray plume of smoke. Thanks to the quick work of firefighters her home was spared. Calling on the locals to evacuate, del Toro lamented the potential loss of his Bleak House collection.

Taking to Twitter, Khloe wrote: "I cannot sleep!"

Kim hasn't shared anything on the risk of losing her home since thanking the firefighters on Instagram last night.

Alyssa Milano, a leading force in the #MeToo social movement against sexual harassment, asked for help getting five horses out of the area and said she had taken her "kids, dogs, computer and my Doc Marten boots".

Kris Jenner's neighbourhood was also evacuated, but she was in NY at the time watching Kendall storm the catwalk at the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
