Trump Blasts ‘Unprofessional’ Jim Acosta and ‘Loser’ April Ryan

Trump has harshly criticized journalists across the board this week - he called Acosta a "rude, bad person" and said he was not smart, and he also mocked foreign reporters for their accents.

The US president has also attacked the media for being "enemies of the people".

Separately, he called out Acosta's tense exchanges with Sanders at past press briefings, saying "it's a disgrace", suggesting the retaliation was about more than Wednesday's press conference. He quickly lashed out at CNN's Abby Phillip when she asked if the new interim Attorney General would try to rein in Robert Mueller's investigation. "What a stupid question that is. What a stupid question", Trump snapped. "What a stupid question", he emphasized. "You're a very rude person", added Trump. Among those he brought up in that context was Ryan.

Trump also told April Ryan of the Urban National Radio Network to "sit down" and wait her turn. "She doesn't know what the hell she is doing".

"I watch her get up", he said today.

"President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration", Sanders wrote in a series of tweets.

In response, Sanders said the White House ban on Acosta's credentials would stand.

Miller was asked if he thought "ridiculous" was an accurate word to describe how teams are approaching the inspection process. Harvick was docked 40 points for the violation, and his win at Texas no longer automatically advances him to the Round of 8.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump held a press conference to address the midterm elections, in which Democrats took the House. "And he does it for, you know, the reason-the same thing with April Ryan". "I will continue to ask the questions that affect America, all of America". Her question was about the widespread concerns that Trump's rhetoric emboldens white nationalists.

"CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them", Trump said. She pointed out that she's done her job for more than two decades.

Trump didn't say what he means by "respect" - but by the end of the press availability, it was pretty clear that it was for reasons other than security. Among the African-American figures are Democratic Reps. "You have to treat the presidency with respect", he said. CNN released a statement via Twitter, as did The White House Correspondents' Association.

"I love this country and have the most respect for the Office of the President", Ryan tweeted Friday morning. "We do the work".

These comments come after a very contentious week between the White House and Jim Acosta.

As the reporter continued, Trump declared: "That's enough, put down the mic" and walked away from his own podium, as if leaving. Every time a member of the media behaves like Acosta, they're not only damaging the media's credibility; they're playing into Trump's hands. "They should be denounced".
