White House suspends CNN's Jim Acosta

White House suspends CNN's Jim Acosta

"This conduct is absolutely unacceptable", Sanders said.

Trump accused a PBS reporter of posing a racist question when she asked him about white nationalists.

As more clashes with reporters followed, Trump, exasperated but energised, summed up what is sure to be repeated at the rallies where chants of "CNN sucks!" have become a favorite chorus.

"As a result of today's incident", Sanders added, "the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice".

"God plays a very big role in my life", Trump said. You are not my enemy.

The move to punish Acosta by removing his access to the White House is believed to be unprecedented. "And the way you treat other people is terrible". She provided fraudulent accusations and cited an incident that never happened.

"A free press is vital to democracy, and we stand behind Jim Acosta and his fellow journalists everywhere".

President Trump insulted Mr Acosta after the reporter challenged his recent assertions about a migrant caravan heading to the USA from Central America. Among the issues that reporters brought up, Acosta asked for a comment on the refugee caravan heading for the U.S. -Mexico border.

The White House Correspondents' Association condemned the suspension of Acosta's credentials, saying it should "immediately reverse this weak and misguided action".

Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigns at President Trump’s request
He took credit for reversing a recent rise in violent crime and for taking a hardline stance on illegal immigration and gangs. Mr Sessions' chief of staff Matthew Whitaker has been appointed acting attorney general, the president announced via Twitter.

"We have a lot of problems - excuse me - but to say that what you said is so insulting to me".

'I consider it an invasion. I didn't call you.'10.

It all kicked off with CNN's Jim Acosta who first asked Trump a question on migration and pointed out Trump's campaign had an ad of migrants climbing a wall.

"CNN should be ashamed of themselves, having you work for them", he said.

"I think you should let me run the country". She did not say to whom she was referring, but the implication was that it was Acosta. Trump repeatedly said "That's enough".

In response, Acosta said, "This is a lie". "Put down the mic". You shouldn't be working for CNN. "You shouldn't be working for CNN".

Trump asked him to sit down multiple times but Acosta kept speaking. The way you treat other people is disgusting. "You shouldn't treat people like that". Acosta refused. Trump backed away from his podium and briefly paced the stage. Go ahead. You are a very rude person, the way that you treat Sarah Huckabee Sanders is awful. "They weren't actors", the president said.

Fox News' Chris Wallace called Acosta's behavior "shameful". On Oprah: 'I don't know if she likes me anymore, but that's okay.'7.
