Thugs Of Hindostan: Google Maps Idea Is Good

Big, bloated, bombastic, Thugs of Hindostan is a period saga that banks exclusively upon action and spectacle for impact.

And while Thugs of Hindostan has set off fireworks at the box-office, the film has apparently failed to impress the film critics and audiences alike. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial, however, emerged as a disappointment, reportedly.

Filmed in India, Thailand and off the coast of Malta, it brings together for the first time Amitabh and Aamir, two of Bollywood's most bankable stars, in battles against the British East India Company in 1795, and with stunts and pyrotechnics galore.

Although the film has not gone up to the mark and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has stated this film a totally disappointing. Although Aamir Khan's character Firangi seems to be modeled around Jack Sparrow, the action sequences of Thugs is nowhere close to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan (centre) leaves Jodhpur Airport as he arrived for a shoot on his upcoming movie "Thugs of Hindostan" in Jodhpur March 8, 2018.

We wanted to get used to the pitch, hence we took our time. "Shikhar's natural instinct is to put pressure on bowlers. The Caribbeans kept losing wickets at regular intervals with Darren Bravo top-scoring with 23.

Amitabh Bachchan has little to do except fight and deliver some really loaded dialogues, Katrina Kaif has an inconsequential special appearance, Fatima Sana Shaikh shines but only briefly and Aamir Khan's jokes fall flat.

Taran Adarsh thrashes the movie for its bad screenplay, poor direction and formula-ridden plot.

"#ThugsOfHindostan may reap the benefit of the holiday period + tremendous hype + impressive names in its cast..."

"The Conclusion" no movie has got pan-India coverage and forget about the box office collections.
