Google will issue an update to fix Pixel 3 memory management issues

For you Pixel 3 and 3 XL peeps, this has already been available for you, so you don't have to worry about this. But this week, Google released its normal monthly software update for the Pixel family of handsets. Instead, the 12-megapixel camera on both phones has been updated with machine-learning powered tools aimed at improving the pictures you take.

After all, you have to agree it's a pretty big coincidence that two of the very few 2018 flagship devices packing just 4GB RAM are exhibiting such serious memory management difficulties. Truth be said, pictures taken with Night Sight may look a bit unreal considering how much light they're able to pull out of the image, but that's actually what people prefer, as it's far better than having a picture which is underexposed. It's coming to the Pixel 3 in a later software update, but we've tried out an early version of Night Sight, and we're pretty impressed with the results.

Now Playing is one of several features that make the Pixel 3 stand out. The Nightscape mode is specifically created to help users capture low-light shots with improved clarity, less noise, and more accurate colour reproduction as well as a better dynamic range than what was available through the default camera app previously.

You can also add a shortcut to your home screen.

10-year-old says she stomped head of baby in panic
Kowalczyk said the infant was pronounced dead at the Gillette Children's Hospital in St Paul, Minnesota. The district attorney says the girl panicked and stomped on the child's head until he stopped.

What's most alarming to me, however, is that Google has publicly stated that some bugs-the stereo speaker imbalance, for example-aren't bugs at all, but are "by design".

You'll see the shortcut on your home screen. If not, a handy button lets you mark the call as spam. As it turns out, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been riddled with bugs. Those phones have a hidden drawing app Easter egg.

Digital Well Being is another Android 9 feature worth exploring. Now, when the phone reports that it is using fast charging, it really is.
