Queen invites Meghan's mum to spend Christmas with the royal family

Now, with the former actress having no immediate family to share her new life with, her majesty has reportedly made a decision to invite her mom, Doria Ragland (62), to spend Christmas at her private country house in Sandringham, England, Daily Mail reports. It's expected that Doria will receive an invitation to attend church with the royal family at Sandringham, the royal estate in Norfolk, England, where the royal family traditionally celebrates the holiday.

The invitation is believed to be a show of respect and also an acknowledgement that Markle has no other family in Britain.

Doria, 62, the only member of Meghan's family to attend her wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle in May, has reportedly been asked along as a "mark of respect".
