What Is It That's Causing Delhi's Bad Air Quality?

It's an issue that we have created ourselves and are reaping issues of what we've sowed.

The air quality in Delhi remained in the "very poor" category on Friday recording 368 on the Air Quality Index, according to data of the Central Pollution Control Board.

According to experts, vehicle pollution is another big reason for Delhi's air pollution.

CPCB chairperson S P Singh issued directions for construction agencies and said, "Failure to which will make the defaulting agencies and individuals liable to criminal prosecution which may be initiated by the CPCB under appropriate provision of the law".

The CPCB has put up guidelines for the public to file complaints of air pollution in Delhi-NCR on its social media page, website, and through its mobile application.
