Alexandre Lacazette strikes late as Arsenal hold Liverpool

Can Arsenal quickly get back to its winning ways and take three points from title rival Liverpool in North London?

Liverpool come into the match sitting in second place in the Premier League table on goal difference and is tied with leaders Manchester City with 26 points from ten matches.

We should find out a little bit more about the Premier League title race - and the related chase for a top-four spot - on Saturday evening at the Emirates.

On Friday, the Spanish manager admitted he wants to address Arsenal's awful record against the Premier League's top six by beating the Reds.

"In the last match I have to say Derby played a very good match", he said. While his side performed well on one end of its League Cup victory over Derby County this week, he wasn't all too pleased with how they defended against the Championship side.

'They can win the Premier League this season, they play the final of the Europa League three years ago and last season they were in the final of the Champions League - they are a very good example for us'.

The hosts tried to rally immediately after the break but Hugo Lloris denied Jimenez, Helder Costa and Neves in quick succession. MF Moussa Sissoko, 6 - A solid presence in the first half but went missing when Wolves fought back in the final 20 minutes.

The start of the post-Wenger era at Arsenal wasn't great as the Gunners lost to holders Manchester City and Chelsea.

Cech's save percentage (75.68) is marginally better than Leno's (72) this season, but the former Chelsea stopper has come under fire for a series of mistakes this season, notably during Arsenal's 3-2 victory over Cardiff.

"We appreciate the quality of the opposition but we can't show any fear on the pitch, we need to be courageous, we need to do our best to play our best football and play the way Klopp wants us to on the pitch". In many ways, this is a bigger game for them than it is for the Reds.

Arsenal fans were hopeful that Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's main star, would be injured. Liverpool is a big test to improve more things and we can show every supporter our mentality and performance against a very big team.

"One is their transitions, two is also that they are developing a lot with the goalkeeper because they build up on this work with Alisson and the centre-backs and the midfield players".

He said: "Away from home, I think it suits us and there's always goals in this encounter".
