Fallout 76 PC Beta Bug Wipes Out the Entire Beta

As reported by Kotaku, the Fallout 76 and Bethesda Support Twitter accounts have been working overtime today addressing the issue, imploring users not to click any buttons until the progress bar for the B.E.T.A. download is complete. However, with Fallout 76's new multiplayer features, it could give players an unfair advantage which they clearly shouldn't have. Doing this will open a link that allows you to purchase the game digitally.

Chances are Bethesda will lock the game at 60 FPS to avoid increased player speed.

The Archangel Tyrael is believed to be dead, while the Worldstone has been shattered into various fragments. Power that Diablo's minions hope to harness to bring about the return of the Lord of Terror.

This is just one of the problems stemming directly from this "Fallout 76" issue, as well. On a fast PC with a 2080 Ti, I saw up to 2500 and more. The earliest game in the series' timeline, Fallout 76 puts you in the shoes of a person residing in Vault 76.

Provided you're interested in those bonuses, you can pre-order this version from select retailers through the links below. I can guarantee this wasn't the type of bug Bethesda was anticipating, but the coincidental nature of this type of thing affecting Fallout 76 makes me chuckle a little. This means that console players would have to contend with those who can leverage their high-end PCs to have a significant advantage. That's the good news. This isn't the only issue that PC players have encountered with the Fallout 76 beta. Users are reporting that the beta files are being deleted when they click anything in the launcher. Hopefully, the ultimate solution is to provide PC gamers with the ability to run with an unlocked framerate, at least up to a suitably high ceiling line 240fps, for those 240Hz display owners. The reason behind it is simple, this a game logic or game engine bug.
