Blizzard announces its first mobile Diablo game

Blizzard announced a new action-role playing Diablo game is coming to iOS and Android devices, titled Diablo: Immortal. According to a report by GameSpot, "buying it will entitle you to content in other Blizzard games, including Diablo III, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft".

Challenge opponents with modern multiplayer matchmaking, search for custom game lobbies, and connect with friends through the Blizzard Battle.net app.

If you're a Diablo fan, you'll want to know that the story of Diablo Immortal is set between the events of Diablo II: Lords of Destruction and Diablo III.

In a company first, Blizzard has teamed up with NetEase Games to create Diablo Immortal, a mobile Diablo experience.

The 27-year-old Patterson, who has had seasons in Turkey, Italy and China, has since been released from airport custody. The dog was taken into quarantine and is to be deported to the United States on Friday, authorities said.

While the early reactions to this announcement have been lukewarm, to say the very least, there is actually a lot to like in this game if you are a fan of the Diablo franchise. Today, the developer announced its second-ever mobile game (after the collectible card RPG Hearthstone) with Diablo: Immortal. The studio behind everlasting hits like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone, and more is now hosting its annual convention in the Anaheim Convention Center, and as always, things kicked off with an opening ceremony full of announcements.

Now, we're sure that Diablo IV is coming at some point.

There are more details on the game's website as well as the Activision press release, including the six character classes players will choose from; Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer and Wizard.

Diablo Immortal does not have a release date.

The Diablo universe has been an extremely successful franchise across multiple platforms already but until now has yet to make it to mobile devices. Diablo 3 has pretty much run its course by now, and fans have been clamoring for the next great thing from the franchise. Custom games are in and the remaster will launch with an updated World Editor.
