Will Smith And Martin Lawrence Confirm Bad Boys For Life

Bad Boys 3 is closer than ever to being a reality, as Martin Lawrence has confirmed that he will join Will Smith in the franchise's next film.

The film will also mark the return of Martin Lawrence to acting. The sequel has always been in the works, since at least 2008 when Bad Boys and Bad Boys II director Michael Bay considered helming the third entry to the franchise. And today, stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence gave the strongest sign yet that they'll be back.

'It's official. Bad Boys for Life. Eventually, 3 years ago, things finally looked like they were coming together as Joe Carnahan (The A-Team, The Grey, NARC) was tapped to write and direct.

Dogs Detect Malaria by Sniffing Worn Socks
It is hoped the findings could potentially lead to the first rapid and non-invasive test for malaria with odour sensors. Alternately, articles of clothing would have to be removed and sniffed by the dogs, which is also not ideal.

He recently dropped a hint that he would be returning to the franchise though, by posting a throwback photo of himself on the set of Bad Boys 2 with Will Smith, director Michael Bay, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

"Bad Boys for Life" has been discussed for years and suffered several false dawns, largely due to Will's hectic schedule, but last month, it was reported that Sony Pictures were on the cusp of giving the movie the green light. If the new "Bad Boys" moves on from Miami, at least commuters on the MacArthur Causeway won't be subjugated to days of closures as they were during the production of "Bad Boys II" in the summer of 2002. "We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another 'Bad Boys.' We're definitely doing another one". Now, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Snowfall) will sit in the director's seat.
