Starbucks Holiday Cups Return With 4 Red and Green Designs

Of course, as with every year, the limited-time hot drinks will be served in a new selection of holiday-themed cups.

Beth Egan, an associate professor of advertising at Syracuse University, told The Washington Post that she doesn't think the latest batch of cups reflect Christmas or any one holiday in particular.

Starbucks is getting into full festive mode with the return of their holiday drink lineup.

A year ago we got the brand's first-ever colour-in holiday cup, giving customers to opportunity to create one-of-a-kind designs, but for 2018 the coffee giant has gone totally classic with retro-graphic patterns.

The new cups, along with a limited edition reusable cup (right), will be available starting November 2.

Now that Halloween is over we can all fully embrace the glory that is the Christmas season.

The school bus driver and a witness also gave statements to authorities, which were relayed in court. He said when he stops to let students on or off the bus, other drivers don't always stop.

In 2015, for example, the company introduced a plain red holiday cup, ending a string of designs that featured more explicit holiday symbols, such as ornaments and reindeer, dating to 1997.

And you could get one for a buddy as an early Christmas gift.

A new cup: Starbucks will also release a plastic holiday cup, which can be reused, USA Today reports. Previous year the only thing Christmassy featured on the cup was a present and a star.

Starbucks is giving customers an extra dose of holiday cheer, the coffee chain debuting not one, but four holiday cups. "But if you look at the star, it could just as easily be a Star of David".

The result is 'not only retro, but true to who we are, ' Brewer said.

A reusable cup, in red, will also be given away to anyone who orders a holiday drink on November 2, and can be brought back to the store between November 3 and January 7 to receive 50 cents off a beverage.
