Smith 'hoping' for trade from Cavs

Smith 'hoping' for trade from Cavs

Boylan, 63, was sacked last summer and replaced by 42-year old Damon Jones.

The Cavs, who lost superstar LeBron James to the Los Angeles Lakers via free agency this season, are now without All-Star forward Kevin Love because of injury and sacked coach Tyronn Lue after their 0-6 start to the season. During shootaround at the Cavs' practice facility, he was asked if he has expressed his feelings towards the team's executives to which he said, "they don't want me, so they obviously know". They're not gonna pay that kind of money for three assistants on the bench.

"Yeah. ... They don't want me here".

Djokovic, Federer move into Paris Masters quarters
Djokovic, who will reclaim the No. 1 ranking next week regardless of where he finishes, faces Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals. The fifth-seeded Cilic beat ninth-seeded Grigor Dimitrov 7-6 (5), 6-4, needing six set points to win the first set.

Fedor reports that GM Koby Altman recently sat down with Smith a few days ago to ask him whether or not he wanted to stay around the team while in a lesser role. "Fortunately I got a great crew of people, former teammates, teammates, former coaches, lot of people in my ear that's helped me to go through this process". If you don't, I just want to thank you for everything and for everything you've given to me, stuff I've learned from you, helped me through all the situations, the health situations, and just being a young coach, man. I don't see it. "But at least communicate that to me. you can't even look me in my face and tell me, that's disrespectful to me".

"There's a lot of things that's going on around here that I don't know the answer to and I don't know why it's going on, but it is and I can't control that", he said.

The Cavaliers promoted 42-year-old Damon Jones in his place.
