Barbra Streisand Takes the Wheel for Carpool Karaoke

"Barbra Streisand. At the hands of Barbra Streisand". The pair belted out some of her famous songs and shared a lot of laughs along the way.

Streisand gives Corden a lift when his own auto gets clamped, and the two belt out her hits like 1979's "No More Tears" and 1973's "The Way We Were" during the drive. And Streisand also talked about her feelings on Trump, learning about Cardi B from Tiffany Haddish, calling Tim Cook to get Siri to pronounce her name right, her decades of crippling stage fright, and all the times she's failed the driving test. Watch it all happen below. Instead of Corden in the driver's seat, as per usual, it's the Academy Award-winning actress-singer at the wheel.

Corden is usually the one behind the wheel, but as the episode began Streisand was picking him up, since his auto had a boot on its wheel. In fact, she didn't perform for 27 years because of that reason.

"I don't get nervous, nervous, but I don't enjoy it", she told Corden.

To calm herself down before a performance, she tells herself, "Let go and let god".

Her magnificent voice, at times quivering with deeply felt emotion, may not be the flawless instrument for expressing pointed political anger, and the soft string accompaniment becomes a bit predictable.
