Countdown to Donald Trump tweeting about this: Alec Baldwin was arrested in New York City after allegedly punching a man over a parking spot!

TMZ reported that Baldwin had a friend trying to hold a parking spot for him and another man drove up and tried to get into the spot and the argument ensued. He is expected to be charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor crime carrying a maximum punishment of one year in jail.

Back in 2012, cameras caught Baldwin allegedly attacking New York Daily News photographer Marcus Santos after he attempted to snap a photo of the actor.

The irony of that statement, and of what happened to Moorthy and her husband, is not lost on me, and it shouldn't be lost on you. He added that Moorthy had set up the tripod by the ledge possibly to take a selfie.

This is not 60-year-old Mr Baldwin's first run-in with the law - in 2014, he was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Baldwin and his wife share four children, Romeo, 5 months, Leonardo, 2, Rafael, 3, and Carmen, 5. Reports on social media say that Baldwin screamed at the police as they arrested him, but the NYPD has not confirmed this.

Baldwin is known for playing US President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.

After all, Baldwin portrays Trump on Saturday Night Live - and Baldwin's portrayal is anything but flattering.
