Oprah Winfrey to campaign for Democrat Stacey Abrams in Georgia’s governor’s race

The race has been marred by allegations of intentional voter suppression, targeted at the state's black residents (Kemp is in charge of elections and voter registration in Georgia), but polls still show that the candidates are neck and neck.

"You have been endorsed by Everytown [for Gun Safety], which is an anti-gun organization, Michael Bloomberg's anti-gun group as well", McCain explained as the cast of The View interviewed the candidate just a few days before her election.

"So let's be clear, I am not anti-gun". She added, "most responsible gun owners understand that they have the responsibility for the firearms, and making sure that only responsible people have those firearms". My great-grand mother taught me how to shoot when I was growing up in Mississippi. Nonetheless, Abrams is fighting to win with all her might and recently appeared on "The View".

The appearance by Winfrey, among the world's wealthiest and most famous black women, is a significant coup for Abrams, who needs to maximize her support from nonwhite voters but also from liberal white women.

McCain then asked if that means Abrams would round up the guns "from civilians in Georgia".

Assange claimed further that Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno had already made the decision to terminate support for Assange. Assange could be expelled from the embassy if he fails to comply with the new rules .

Abrams said she is not "anti-gun", then listed numerous gun controls, including an all-out ban on commonly owned semiautomatic firearms.

The candidate reiterated that she believes the Second Amendment is "the law of the land" but wants to include more regulations on the types of weapons available to citizens.

McCain said she appreciated Abrams' honesty.

Meghan McCain didn't know who she was dealing with.

Mr. Kemp had been expected to meet Stacey Abrams, the Democratic candidate, in a Sunday evening debate that was announced in September and was to be broadcast live.
