Juan Mata speaks of admiration for Arsenal boss Unai Emery

He told Sky Sports News on Wednesday that the plan is still to find a new job by the start of 2019, but that he doesn't know where yet.

The Frenchman has been on a sabbatical since leaving Arsenal at the end of last season, though has intimated that he is looking to make a return in the near future.

Real Madrid are now seeking a new boss and Wenger is one of most fancied names, according to bookmakers.

He said: "I said many times maybe the best way is not to be in England because I spent so much time at the same club it would seem odd to go somewhere else".

"I have had a good rest and watched football a lot".

"I miss the game and the intensity and the beauty of our game. But I'll be somewhere".

The Swiss now owns nine trophies from his hometown event and has won his last 20 matches at the tournament. Federer's 151st singles final on the ATP tour shaped as one of his biggest mismatches by ranking.

The Frenchman said: "I have dedicated my whole life to one club - it would be hard and not well accepted".

He was replaced by Unai Emery, who has enjoyed a solid start at Emirates Stadium with Arsenal now fourth in the Premier League table after a 12-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

"After that, I'm a supporter like anyone else - I want them to win football games".

Bellerin suffered a right thigh injury at Selhurst Park and Arsenal have confirmed he will be assessed ahead of Liverpool's trip to Emirates Stadium on Saturday - where a win would move Arsenal to within one point of Jurgen Klopp's side.

"But overall the quality is there, we got to the League Cup final and got to the Europa League semi-final last season, where we would have won. They have a chance - but at the moment we have some other teams who look very strong as well".
