Josh Hart will come off Lakers' bench on Monday

The three-time National Basketball Association champion has been taking positives despite his young team's 2-5 record, with the loss margins all fewer than 10 points, but his answer on Monday was a warning that his patience may be starting to wear thin.

But he left the Cavaliers and on July 1 signed with the Lakers, who have lost all three of their games decided by four points or fewer this season.

We keep saying it (because it's true), but Towns' defense is so incredibly improved.

James dutifully answered questions, giving thoughtful responses on what the team needs to do to perform better. It also helps that the team was 7-for-8 (87.5 percent) from the free-throw line. Doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result, you know, that's insanity.

Obviously, you'd love to not go 0-for-10 from two-point range in a quarter, but hey, we'll take what we can get here. "And they hurt us with both of those".

"I can promise you (we will)", Walton said. Rajon Rondo and Ingram each had four.

"We're just not making the right plays at the right time", said Rondo, as his team was outscored 21-15 in fast-break points partially because of its poor decision-making when it had numbers. "I don't think nothing that has gone on before this game has anything to do with us going out there and competing". Brandon Ingram was back in the starting lineup for the first time since his four-game suspension.

Already, though, he's grown exhausted of losing, and when asked what kind of leader he looks like when he loses his patience, James' answer was ominous to say the least. We're messing up pick-and-roll coverage. L.A. was outscored by 11 points with Ball on the court Monday and has now been outscored by 44 points with Ball on the court this season, the worst plus-minus of any Lakers player, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.

Developing chemistry is hard when the Lakers are still constantly toying with lineups, but Hart won't use that as an excuse, saying, "We've got to be ready when our name is called". "I just want to show that I can compete with the best of them".

"We talk about patience, but we can't have a reoccurrence of the same thing", James said.
