'Boy Meets World' Star William Daniels Helps Halt an Attempted Home Burglary

Actor William Daniels played hero Saturday when he reportedly foiled a would-be break-in at his home in California.

Actor William Daniels, 91, was able to stop a potential burglar from invading his Southern California home on the night of October 27.

Daniels was home with his 89-year-old wife, Bonnie Bartlett, when the incident began. Daniels responded by turning the lights on, scaring the intruder away, according to TMZ.

Daniels, who is originally from NY, is best known for his long-running character Mr. Feeny on the popular television series "Boy Meets World" in the 90s-a role that he reprised several times on the more recent sequel "Girl Meets World". He reprised his role as Mr. Feeny as a guest star in several episodes of the spinoff "Girl Meets World" on the Disney Channel between 2014 and 2017 as well.

Both he and his wife "are both well", the rep says, adding, "Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern".

Daniels, who won two Emmys for playing Dr. Mark Craig in "St". The actor is also known for his film roles as Mr. Braddock in The Graduate (1967) and Arthur Lestrange in Blue Lagoon (1980). "Will Friedle, who played Eric on Boy Meets World, responded to the news (hopefully this is the only "BREAKING NEWS" involving Daniels and his age for a very, very, very long time) with the hashtag "#LoveYouBillAndBonnie". Daniels also voiced KITT in "Knight Rider" from 1982 to 1986 and returned again for the 1991 television movie.
