Loftus-Cheek hat-trick seals Chelsea win over BATE Borisov

Loftus-Cheek hat-trick seals Chelsea win over BATE Borisov

Chelsea will be without Eden Hazard for their Europa League clash with BATE Borisov as the Blues look to maintain their winning start.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the Premier League under Sarri and many pundits have claimed they are a goalscoring striker away from being serious contenders for the title this term.

Defender Marcos Alonso has signed a new contract at Chelsea that will keep him at the club until 2023.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored three goals as Chelsea dispatched BATE Borisov 3-1 in Europa League action on Thursday.

He is just the latest in a group of fringe players who are considering departing the club in January, with Andreas Christensen having recently admitted that he is unhappy with the current level of game time.

But he says West Ham would find it hard to stay in the Premier League if they sold their star asset.

Murder of Khashoggi premeditated: Saudi prosecutor
Attendance was drawn more from Saudi Arabia and the region, and many checked their phones for the latest news on Khashoggi. The kingdom has since admitted he was murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, blaming a "rogue operation".

However, Sarri made it clear that the player was a big part of his plans and, if ESPN are to be believed, the Blues have moved to tie him down for the foreseeable future. We have to change something.

"The problem will be on Sunday as we have to play after 65 hours".

"For example, Jorginho needs to rest now because he played 90 minutes in two matches for his national team, and then he played for 90 minutes in the last match".

The Belgium worldwide has been Chelsea's best performer with seven goals in nine Premier League appearances for the club so far this season.

This will be Chelsea's first ever meeting with Belarusian opposition.

Loftus-Cheek's display delighted the home crowd, whose team strolled to a third win from three Group L matches, although they switched off with 11 minutes remaining, allowing Aleksei Rios to pull a goal back with a close-range tap in.
