Top White House Staffers Get Into 'Profanity-Laced' Shouting Match

Bloomberg News reported that adviser John Bolton and chief of staff John Kelly got into the fight corroborated by three White House sources.

Trump has been angered recently by reports of a migrant caravan formed in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on Saturday that is heading to the US carrying thousands of migrants, organizers say. President Trump reportedly sided with Bolton, further angering Kelly.

Stephen Colbert can't get enough of the reports of a shouting match in the White House between two of President Donald Trump's top aides.

He has recently sought to make immigration a more prominent political issue, blaming Democrats for increased numbers of migrants crossing the border. Neither is resigning, the people said.

The Invictus Games is an worldwide sporting event for wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women, both active duty and veteran. One member of the group told CNN affiliate Sky News the royals were "no different" to the rest of the group.

Trump on Thursday tweeted that he was prepared to call out the military and even close the border if the "onslaught" is not stopped.

While that report noted that heated arguments in the West Wing aren't unusual, "a source familiar with the clash equated it with a falling out".

Trump said last month that the United States would be reviewing its foreign aid with an eye toward providing it only "to those who respect us and, frankly, are our friends", and Bolton has advocated revoking it from countries who take steps at odds with USA objectives. That is substantially higher than the previous year-end total of 77,857 in the 2016 fiscal year.

Still, Sanders insisted the White House was pleased with its own immigration efforts.
