Nick Bosa Withdraws From Ohio State to Prepare for the Draft

No. 2 Ohio State made the announcement on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old suffered a core injury against Texas Christian University on September 15, undergoing surgery on the injury on September 20.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer announced Tuesday that Bosa - a projected top 3 pick - will focus on preparing for the National Football League draft rather than return to the Ohio State program. But Bosa won't be returning to the Buckeyes regardless.

That came to an abrupt halt when he went down early in the third quarter against TCU in Arlington, Texas, and had to be helped to the locker room. Nick Bosa is the top prospect on ESPN's Big Board rankings and his injury is unlikely to diminish his value. I want to thank Nick for the remarkable efforts he gave for this program.

Honduras is one of a dwindling number of countries that still has formal diplomatic ties with Taiwan. The government said it will act to stop the caravan from crossing into Guatemala.

While Bosa reportedly initially wanted to return to Ohio State to finish this season, no one can blame him for shutting things down to protect his future financial interests.

In three games this season, Bosa had six tackles for loss, four sacks, a forced fumble that resulted in a touchdown, and two fumble recoveries, including one for a touchdown.

"He is a first-class young man who we have been honored to coach", the statement reads in part. The reigning Big Ten defensive lineman of the year had not been cleared for team activities and was ruled out for the upcoming game against Purdue.
