The Flash Movie Getting Pushed Back

The Flash Movie Getting Pushed Back

The film never received a formal greenlight nor did it have a set release date, but it had been expected to begin shooting in March. Now, Warner closer than even to making The Flash happen, but it's facing another setback. The problem with that is that Ezra Miller is also part of the Fantastic Beasts series.

The Warner Bros. plan to launch the Justice League character in his own solo adventure is now looking more like a marathon than a mad dash.

Pippa Middleton Has Given Birth To A Baby Boy!
Kate's sister Pippa Middleton married hedge-fund manager James Matthews previous year at St Mark's Church, Berkshire. St Mary's Hospital is highly respected and is renowned for providing premium services.

A primary issue: Ezra Miller, who portrayed the Flash in Justice League (2017), and is tabbed to reprise the role, is already locked-in for duty in another high-profile Warner Bros. project. However, the script is still being worked on, and it is unlikely to be ready in time to hit the production start date. The third film of that franchise will begin shooting in July, which would cause scheduling conflicts.

This means filming on Flash will likely not commence until late 2019, in which case the film's will be pushed back to 2021. Both Rick Famuyiwa and Seth Grahame-Smith were attached to the project at different points in time, but departed due to creative differences. Now I have to wonder if we'll get a Flash movie at all, or if he'll be consigned to the void like Ray Fisher's potential Cyborg movie. Currently, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the co-writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming, are attached as the directors for the untitled Flash movie. Planned Batman and Superman movies (starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill) are not moving forward, and Batman is expected to be recast. Now we are a few months away from the release of Aquaman and next year we'll see a Wonder Woman sequel.
