Chelsea's Eden Hazard could play at centre-forward - coach Maruizio Sarri

Chelsea's Eden Hazard could play at centre-forward - coach Maruizio Sarri

After scoring seven goals three assists in his first eight Premierr League games this season, it's been evident the Belgian ace has taken his career to a new level as he enters the peak phase of his professional football career.

Hazard has been one of the top performing players this year, having led Chelsea to the FA Cup last season, before also playing a key role as Belgium finished third at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

A number of high-profile Chelsea players - including Hazard - failed to produce their best displays during that period, and the Belgium worldwide has revealed that he has regrets over the situation.

Hazard said that the team went into a negative spiral in their third season under the Portuguese manager and that he felt that training was no longer fun anymore.

The Italian, who took the Blues reins over the summer, told Corriere dello Sport of a player he may be tempted to use in a "false nine" role again this season: "Hazard is enormous and I don't think even he knows how much he can still improve".

"I don't regret many things in my career, but that I have not been able to work with Mourinho at Chelsea anymore is one of them".

Rising star Zverev was similarly emphatic as he brushed aside Australia's new number one, teenager Alex de Minaur , 6-1, 6-4. Djokovic will take on seventh-seeded Kevin Anderson of South Africa, whom he leads 6-1 on head-to-heads.

Chelsea eventually ended the 2015-16 campaign in 10th position.

"If the results are poor, he starts criticising his players - you know that, but afterwards I've been able to accept that, it's part of his character".

England foremost domestic league, the English Premier League have released the best player and the best coach in the tournament for the month of September. I walked into Stamford Bridge and hear this shout: 'Mauriziooooooo!' Then the chants, it makes you want to pinch yourself. We had requested extra holidays from Mourinho after the title. "I came back totally out of shape".

However, it is Man United boss Mourinho who Hazard is hoping to be managed by in the future. I could say Raphael Varane because he won a lot too. Even his own image of an extremely defensive coach was not too bad. We'd enjoyed all that success together, but this time we hadn't.

"He is far from adventurous like [Pep] Guardiola, but the season in which we became champions, we scored many goals and played good games. I'd been one of the most decisive players, and then I performed less".
