Odell Beckham Jr. criticizes Giants coaches and Eli Manning in pointed interview

In a wide-ranging interview with ESPN's Josina Anderson that aired in full on Sunday before Big Blue's game versus the Carolina Panthers, Beckham was asked if the team had a quarterback problem. I just like that atmosphere, but this is where I'm at.

Newton ended the game 21-of-35 with 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, 237 total passing yards, and 29 rushing yards.

When asked if he believed Eli Manning was the reason for the Giants' struggles on offence, Beckham said he wasn't sure. I know those numbers could be double, or triple that they are right now.

"Like I said, I feel like he's not going to get out the pocket", Beckham told ESPN. We know Eli's not going to run it. Can he still throw it? We played the way that I know that our team is. Beckham specifically questioned the team's conservative play calls and its inability to throw balls beyond 20 yards.

While he's caught a respectable 31 passes this year, he's yet to catch a touchdown, and his 10.7 yards per catch average is the lowest of his career.

Paul Pogba reveals two areas of his game he must improve
Louis Saha believes Paul Pogba intentionally set out to destabilise Jose Mourinho by publicly criticising the Manchester United manager.

Despite that, Beckham told Josina Anderson on Sunday that he's not happy in NY, not happy with the weather and, ultimately, not happy with quarterback Eli Manning.

"I haven't been in this situation". "I feel like some of those plays right after I was getting myself going was some of my best stuff". "I don't get 20 targets like some other receivers, you know". One of the people who has chimed in on it all is Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, who chastised Beckham for his comments. "We've had these conversations and like I said, we're all moving forward onto Philly". I watch everybody across the league.

The entire Giants organization seems to be upset, and if they don't get back to a clear state of mind then they won't win a football game anytime soon. And they host the Eagles next - which should be interesting to say the least.

After losing four of their first five games, the New York Giants would be out of the playoff hunt in most seasons. Obviously, I love seeing the sunshine all the time. "You've ruined that for me". I just like that atmosphere, but this is where I'm at. I was trying to get myself fired up, I did that, and it helped me. If I had to lose on a 63-yard field goal, so be it. Curtis Riley couldn't get there in time to stop the pass.

"Heated. I know what I'm capable of". I felt very close as a team this Sunday, and that's the way that we have to play. This is my time to be out of the cage.
