Seann Walsh 'deeply regrets' kissing Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones

The actor Rebecca Humphries has issued a statement urging women not to stay with controlling partners after pictures emerged of her boyfriend Seann Walsh kissing his married partner from BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.

Comedian Seann and his professional partner Katya became the focus of attention over the weekend, for all the wrong reasons.

The pair later apologised for a "one-off drunken mistake", as the so-called "curse of Strictly" appeared to strike again.

Myleene Klass said "A situation recognisable to so many of us".

'He aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho / nuts / mental, ' she said, 'As he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I've questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour'.

"But the main thing for me, is me and Neil are fine".

And in a social media post she explained how she was "not a victim, ' and accused the stand-up of being 'controlling".

Seann and Katya will dance the Charleston on Saturday night's Strictly. I was alone at home when Sean texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink.

When quizzed about his ex's statement, Seann stated, "First of all I would rather not be having to address this publicly, but I feel like I have to".

Here's where Ireland ranks among the world's most powerful passports
In this year's ranking, both United Kingdom and USA have slipped the charts with 186 destinations. Over the same period Georgia has added 18, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates 17, and China 14.

Unsurprisingly, Seann's now ex-girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries - who confirmed their split in a powerful open letter, made her feelings pretty clear on Twitter. "I'm not sorry I took the cat though".

However, Seann has now taken the opportunity to tell his side of the story - claiming he hasn't been portrayed accurately and that his relationship with Rebecca "wasn't perfect".

You never think about the extent of the damage that you're going to do in a moment of. you know, the mistake that you've made.

"I'm still sorry for what I did but it's very important for me to get there".

"I'm not ideal, far from it, our relationship wasn't flawless".

"I think it's also important for me to say that the people that know me the most, that love me, know I'm not the person I'm being portrayed as".

Strictly victor and presenter Ore Oduba told Metro: "I just want the show to get back to people watching the dancing".

Speculation has mounted that the pair may quit the series before Saturday night's episode, amid rumours the programme's bosses want them to leave.
