Samsung Galaxy A9 is the world's first quad-cam smartphone

Launched late last month, the Samsung Galaxy A7 is the South Korean electronics giant's first triple camera smartphone.

There's not long to go now before the official unveiling of the Galaxy A9 - what else do you reckon it'll have in store?

The A9 has a 24-megapixel main camera, as well as telephoto, ultra wide-angle and depth lenses created to help with a broad range of mobile photography.

What's interesting about the Galaxy A9 is that it has plenty of decent features.

Reports Suggest Microsoft Are Close To Buying Obsidian Entertainment
Clearly, this would provide the studio with some stability and heaps of resources from one of the "Big 3". When reached for comment, both Microsoft and Obsidian refused to comment on rumors or speculation.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is powered by octa-core (4x2.2GHz + 4x1.8GHz) processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the Galaxy A9?

LG now hold the record for the most cameras on a smartphone with the V40 ThinQ and its seems Samsung has chose to take it a step further.

After a barrage of leaks and rumors, the Galaxy A9 has finally been announced and quite surprisingly, it features a quad-camera setup before such an upgrade was found on Samsung's flagship devices. There is no doubt that there is the physical limitation to fit in a mechanical zoom lens in such a tiny space to offer multiple focal lengths so the next best thing is to just add more cameras with lenses for different focal lengths. Imaging features include 2x optical zoom, scene optimizer, manual depth of field adjusting, and much more. From the always-on display and fast charging to the fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, and headphone jack, the phone keeps up with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) flaunts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display on the front which carries a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Coming to the pricing, it will be retailing from Euro 599 in Europe. Theoretically, Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 will be capable of delivering photos that will cover more real estate, have clarity and sharpness and bokeh mode. In Europe, it will start at €599 / £549 (between $700-$725), with the 8GB variant sure to be a little more.
