Amazon Introduces New Fire TV Stick 4K, Alexa Voice Remote

So the way this works is you trade in any Roku, Apple or Google streaming device and Amazon will give you up to $2.99 as an Amazon gift card. Amazon claims that the Fire TV Stick 4K is the first to feature Dolby Vision tech. It's also 80 per cent faster than past Fire TV Sticks, supports Dolby Atmos (if you have the right audio setup), and has a quad-core 1.7GHz processor built in to speed up all your streaming and browsing. That's one up on the rival £70 Google Chromecast Ultra dongle (which only has 4K and HDR), although next week's Google event could bring the Chromecast line up to speed.

That's an incredibly comprehensive list of features for a product sold at $49.99 with an "all-new" Alexa Voice Remote thrown in for no extra charge. The remote itself is $30/£30 and works with existing current-generation Fire TV devices.

The Fire TV Stick 4K is available for preorder starting Wednesday, Oct. 3 for $50. The new remote will also start shipping on October 31.

Zinedine Zidane Reportedly Would Reject Manchester United; Here’s Why
The evening did not start well. "I was pleased with the improvement from Saturday", the Manchester United manager said. I said in pre-season last season was phenomenal to finish second.

"What it (Fire TV Stick 4K) does is that it adds a lot more oomph into the performance of the Fire TV Stick". It will land in the United Kingdom on the 14th of November.

The remote, which can be purchased separately for $29.99 (around £20, AU$40), adds dedicated power, volume, and mute buttons to the traditional Amazon Fire TV remote design and allows you to control most AV devices connected to your TV. "It is a complete 4K solution our customers are looking for, all within a compact stick form factor". In the coming weeks, Amazon will begin including the new remote with the Fire TV Cube. Also, 4K TVs in India are available at a low price of Rs 36,999, so the newly launched 4K version of Fire TV Stick could get a good reception from the audience though.
