Emre Can sorry for 'we're not women' comment on Cristiano Ronaldo

UEFA says its disciplinary panel will judge the case of Ronaldo's first Champions League red card on September 27 to determine if he will miss more than the one game.

Ronaldo was sent off on his Champions League debut for Juventus after he appeared to have grabbed Valencia defender Jeison Murillo's hair, as they tangled off the ball midway through the first half.

Old Trafford was looking forward to welcoming their former player back in Juventus colours, but Moran thinks that it is unlikely that the five-time Champions League victor will feature in that game.

A ten-men Juventus, however, defeated their Spanish opponents as Miralem Pjanic succesfully converted two spot kicks, eventually leading the Bianconeri to a 2-0 victory.

This was Ronaldo's 11th red card, but first in the Champions League, with a suspension now set to reduce his scoring power in the group stages.

Meanwhile, had reported that Ronaldo's elder sister Katia Aveiro has lashed out at German referee Felix Brych after issuing a straight red card to the Portuguese. He should therefore be available to face Manchester United next month.

The newspaper said its sources also included people who were briefed on memos written by FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe . Rosenstein disputed the reporters' findings.

"I can only say that VAR would have helped the referee make the right decision", Allegri said after the game.

The outcome of disciplinary proceedings against Ronaldo will not be officially known until UEFA's control, ethics and disciplinary panel meets next Thursday.

He will find out next week whether his one-match ban is extended. It was spotted by the additional assistant, standing behind the goal, who may have thought Ronaldo threw an elbow but that was not the case.

"So I hope afterwards UEFA will watch the replays and that we can have something positive for him because he does not deserve it".

"I haven't seen the play which ended up in the red card".
