Game Freak’s New IP Town Coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019

The announcement was part of the reveals made at Nintendo Direct event.

Developers of the Pokemon Games, Game Freak have just declared a new RPG title to be launched for Nintendo Switch.

Set in a village (not a town) that lends the game its temporary name, the peace is disturb when all manner of monsters appear and attack. At first glance, the visual aesthetic of Town feels reminiscent of other JRPG games, including the latest Pokemon titles from Game Freak.

Florence death toll rises to 5 amid massive deluge
There have been seven storm-related deaths since Florence, then a Category-1 hurricane, made landfall Friday morning. He moved quickly as workers helped him empty more than 1,000 mattresses from a warehouse in a low-lying strip mall.

This brand new RPG will place players int the shoes of an ordinary villager. Players will take up arms against invading monsters and strategically select from a variety of battle commands.

Game Freak Inc is most known for its tireless work on the Pokémon franchise, it also has some history with other original IPs such as Giga Wrecker in 2017 and Tembo the Badass Elephant in 2015. It's up to you and members of the town to save the village from destruction. But it's certainly quality over quantity, so we're best waiting to see what Game Freak has in store. The game will release next year for Nintendo Switch, and seems like an RPG worth keeping your eye on, especially if you're a fan of Game Freak.

Town is planned to release in 2018 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
