There were a number of notable announcements as part of the most recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, including a slew of Final Fantasy titles making their way to the Switch in addition to new installments in the Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing series.

These cool retro controllers for the Switch console look a lot like the originals.

During today's Nintendo Direct special, Nintendo confirmed that the bundle is in fact coming, with all the goodies that you've come to expect, Smash Bros. fans. Ports of Wii U games were among them, as expected. Nintendo's online service, opening from 19 Sept, will cost £3.49 / $3.99 for one month or £17.99 / $19.99 for 12 months. What was particularly interesting in this datamine is that hackers found icons for several new controllers not then supported or announced for Switch, including NES, Famicom, SNES, and Super Famicom controllers.

Pokemon fans might be more interested in the Pikachu and Eevee themed Nintendo Switch consoles. As Polygon reports, these are rather old games, but FF10.2 remastered should spruce up the visuals in at least one instance. Annoyingly, very little that we didn't already know was shared, but an FAQ section on the official Nintendo website gives us a little bit more information.
