When police and EMTs arrived, they determined the popular entertainer had died before they got there, TMZ reported Thursday.

As Radar previously reported, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call made from Miller's home at 11:42 a.m. on September 7.

Sources told TMZ that police officers found traces of white powder in the house, but believe the place was wiped clean of any drugs or paraphernalia.

Miller, 26, died of an apparent overdose at his California home last Friday.
