De Bruyne played 30 minutes in City's opening day win over Arsenal, but has missed the last three games through injury.

"My last steps [coaching wise] will be with Barcelona at La Masia".

Guardiola, who will be without the playmaker's service until November, has now praised the 27-year-old, revealing that he would not sell him for any price.

"I will finish again where I started", he said in an interview with Universo Valdano.
