Ariana Grande's Mac Miller Tribute Is A Candid Video And A Message

Singer Ariana Grande has paid tribute to her former boyfriend, the late rapper Mac Miller, who died last week of a suspected drugs overdose.

"Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26".

Taking to Instagram, Grande posted a video of her and Mac in happier times, laughing with one another. Shortly after the tragic news about his death spread, Ariana Grande shared a photo of the rapper without a caption. We talked about this.

"Telling me that he knew how hard getting sober is and how impressed he was that I was succeeding". I'm so sorry I couldn't fix or take your pain away.

"I hope you're okay now". While conflicting schedules were blamed, reports emerged that Grande was concerned over Miller's substance abuse; he was arrested for DUI the following month.

Grande took to her Instagram on Friday to express her sorrow over the loss of Miller, who died at his home in California's San Fernando Valley on September 7.

Recording an episode of podcast The Shane Show, Powers said: "He had a lot of good stuff going on".

The pair broke up earlier this year, but close friends of Mac's revealed that she was very active in his sobriety. "Because whether he's an addict or not, the way Mac partied was not healthy".

"She was deeply helpful and effective in keeping Mac sober and helping him get sober and she was all about him being healthy, period, in this area of his life".
