Nintendo Switch Online Service’s Release Dates Announced; More Info Coming Tomorrow

Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis Aces, and Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido are among a few of the games listed as compatible with Nintendo Switch Online.

The much anticipated online gaming service for the popular Nintendo Switch has a start date: September 18.

Nintendo has just announced via social media that the Direct will indeed air tomorrow, September 13th. Not all games will support this feature, but it's a relief to see Nintendo add a feature that should have been ready at launch. Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus both cost $59.99 for a year-long subscription, while Nintendo Switch Online is available for $19.99 per year for an individual or $34.99 for families.
