There are now three huge storms developing in the Atlantic

"Moderate to rough seas will gradually rise to very rough in the south and east with building southeasterly swells from Hurricane Florence".

Isaac could be upgraded to a hurricane tonight, but some weakening of the system is expected to take shape by mid-week.

However, not every storm like this is a hurricane: NOAA explains they must have winds of at least 74 miles per hour.

National Hurricane Center Director Ken Graham warned that Florence was forecast to linger over the Carolinas once it reaches shore.

It said that a hurricane watch means that hurricane conditions are possible within the watch area and Prime Minister Skerrit reminded citizens that Hurricane Maria had increased its intensity "in a matter of hours from a Category 3 to Category 5 storm when it lashed the island on September 18 past year, killing several people and causing hundreds of dollars in losses". Its center will move between Bermuda and the Bahamas Tuesday and Wednesday, and approach the coast of SC or North Carolina on Thursday, the National Hurricane Center said.

Helene is a Category 2 hurricane that's blowing winds between 96-110 miles per hour.

Hurricane conditions are possible within the hurricane watch area - Guadeloupe, Martinique and Dominica - by Thursday morning, with tropical storm conditions possible early Thursday in both the tropical storm watch area - Antigua, St Kitts and Nevis, and Montserrat - and the hurricane watch areas, the NHC added.

This is a big clue, since it indicates that the foldable device will be phone-sized when folded and tablet-sized when unfolded. At least "eventually" has just been upgraded to "some time this year", according to a new report from CNBC in the States.

"Pretend, assume, presume that a major hurricane is going to hit right smack dab in the middle of South Carolina and is going to go way inshore", South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster said.

Florence, the most intense of the three has reached Category 4 status and will likely continue to strengthen as it moves over the warm waters heading for landfall on the East Coast later this week.

The NHC said that Isaac is located near latitude 14.6 North, longitude 49.7 West and is moving towards the west near 16 miles per hour.

Large swells generated by Florence are already affecting Bermuda and portions of the East Coast and will continue this week, the hurricane center said.

Hurricane Helene is in the far eastern Atlantic Ocean and not expected to be near any land. "Flooding is the deadliest result of these storms".

Winds are now 105 miles per hour. Both North and SC have declared states of emergency in preparation.

Isaac could become a hurricane on later today or by Monday morning.
