All your annoying friends with Playstations have probably already gushed about the game in some way to you or - if you're lucky enough to not know any annoying nerds - you probably didn't even realise or care a Spider-Man game was released.

After making sure she wouldn't check his Twitter, and that they'd still be together come September 7th (the game's release date), Insomniac agreed to help. According to a video blog by Schultz - which also gives instructions on where to find the sign - Schultz's girlfriend allegedly left him just a few weeks before the game was released. The game makes reference to several characters and entities from the comics and movies, which includes mentions of the Avengers, Damage Control, Crusher Hogan, and a lot more.

Upon finding out this info, Insomniac Games' Jacinda Chew contacted Schultz asking if he wanted the message changed to something else via a future title update.

Sadly for everyone concerned it wasn't meant to be and in a vlog that has since been removed, Schultz admitted that it's "the saddest Easter egg" ever. Gamer SavageKingx30 noticed that this is a moment straight out of Raimi's Spider-Man 2, compounded by Peter Parker's frustration that the tactic doesn't work this time.
