Update: According to the game director Tetsuya Nomura, an extended version of the trailer will release on September 18th. It seems like all of the original series characters from every game are going to at the very least make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3, as even Roxas got a brief reveal in this trailer.

Fans of the charming franchise have wanted VR support for years, so this will be welcome news. But as Kingdom Hearts 3 hits the home stretch, PlayStation VR owners will have a special something to help tide them over before that January release date.
