Twitter Reaction: Peterman, Bills stink up season opener vs. Ravens

In fact, the Bills downright stunk, dropping their season opener to the Baltimore Ravens 47-3.

If you watched the Buffalo Bills disastrous loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, then you know Buffalo quarterback Nathan Peterman was, in a word, terrible.

Needless to say, a performance such as the one the Bills put in Sunday is going to lead to a lot of memes and reaction from all over the football spectrum, and Twitter definitely didn't fail to deliver.

"Overall, I thought we could have been better at a number of positions", McDermott said after the game. To get into all of the things I have to look at and consider, it's not just as simple as some might think.

Chicago Bears: The good, bad and ugly from Packers game
McCarthy said he was prepared to go with Kizer to start the second half until getting the word from the team doctor in the tunnel. After giving up a touchdown on the opening drive, the Packers held Chicago's offense to just two field goals the rest of the way.

Inexplicably, Buffalo coach Sean McDermott wouldn't commit to putting Peterman - who threw five interceptions during a start past year - back on the bench for Buffalo's second game. "I'm looking at it from a lot of different angles, not only who's playing the position but who's around them. Taking a hard look at yourself, learning from these mistakes but moving on and trying to go win another game".

Rookie Josh Allen replaced Peterman and completed six of his 15 passes for 74 yards. He used his feet at times, as well.

Peterman's first interception came in the second quarter, when he overthrew Kelvin Benjamin over the middle of the field.

He was 5 of 18 with two interceptions when coach Sean McDermott again pulled the plug, this time 34 minutes into the game.
