Rain from tropical storm to hit Northeast Ohio

Weather forecasts have much of the central part of the state dealing with Gordon's rain until the weekend. "Basically, what that's going to mean, in a tropical system there is a ton of moisture with it".

"The rain is in Pennsylvania this (Sunday) morning". Expect heavy rain and storms to ramp up with some stronger storms on the table Sunday afternoon, especially in eastern Kentucky.

The heaviest soaking rain is expected for all of Western New York late Sunday night, overnight through Monday morning. The circulation is also helping to form the showers and storms now moving northward across the area.
