National Football League notebook: Rodgers leaves with leg injury

With AP Photos.Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has returned for the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter after being taken off the field on a cart because of a knee injury. The Green Bay Packers pulled off an unbelievable comeback win over the Chicago Bears despite heading into the fourth quarter down 17 points.

Kizer, who was on the field while Aaron Rodgers was being tended off the field with a knee injury, simply did not stand a chance of doing anything good against the Bears' ferocious defense.

Minutes later, he walked back out on the field and threw warmup tosses with backup DeShone Kizer.

Many experts favour Green Bay to make the most of home field advantage and take the victory when the teams meet in this NFC North rival match. "Making big-time plays", Nagy said. After coming back, Rodgers went 17-for-23 for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

Cody Parkey hit a 33-yard field goal to put the Bears up 20-0 early in the third quarter.

It turned out to be the only offensive touchdown the Bears would score all night. You want to come out and win these games.

"You know we talked about finishing and we didn't do that", Nagy said.
