IPhone 9 is not the name for Apple's 6.1-inch handset

Twitter user Ben Gaskin has shared a bunch of purported images of the upcoming 6.1-inch LCD iPhone dubbed the "iPhone Xc" in four colours i.e. white, red, space gray, and rose gold, featuring the same back glass design as the current iPhones but with colour-matched aluminum frame in contrast to the stainless steel used by the iPhone X (via 9to5Mac). Another Chinese telecom company China Mobile also posted an illustration hint the dual SIM Apple iPhone. Quartz, meanwhile, reported that the iPhone X tops out at $1,455.23 (Dh5,346) in Hungary.

The 5.8-inch OLED iPhone XS will supposedly be 7388 yuan.

One point of contention that has not yet been made clear is whether or not the entry-level iPhone XC will feature a cost-effective LCD screen as an alternative to the cutting edge OLED display found on the iPhone X and its subsequent derivatives higher up on the product chart. The brand will tone down the specifications of the 6.1-inch iPhone 9 in order to cut costs.

Apple's next iPhone event is being held this Wednesday (September 12th) at Apple Park in California and the announcement will kick off at 6pm over here in the UK.

With Apple poised to host their "Gather Round" on September 12, 2018, it seems likely that smartphone aficionados will finally be able to lay all of the speculation surrounding the latest iPhone models to rest. Definitely not the "affordable" iPhone X you may have been hoping for.

Black Ops 4’s Blackout Battle Royale Gets Trailer Ahead of Beta Launch
Specialist abilities, weapons, locations, vehicles, and even a couple cameos from some returning players all get the spotlight. This goes well beyond the tiny teaser we saw a month ago, and gives us a much better idea of the rhythm and style of the mode.

However, it will be the first ever Apple iPhone to come with dual SIM dual standby support. The dual-SIM option might not come to India. The iPhone XS Plus with 6.5-inch display will be priced $1225, which roughly translates to Rs 88,000. That goes against a recent rumor that the name would be iPhone Xs Max instead.

Given the bigger display, iPhone Xs Plus is being seen as the more premium variant on the list.

The new software typically becomes available each fall, which means Apple will nearly certainly announce official release dates for each operating system at its event on September 12.

What the "c" in the iPhone XC (or Xc) doesn't stand for is "cheap".
