Dez Bryant explains why he wants to play for the Patriots

The NFL season officially began Sunday for most of the NFL, and it all happened without Dez Bryant being on an active roster.

The Patriots became something of a revolving door for receivers this offseason, starting with Danny Amendola departing New England for Miami in free agency. Still unsigned after his release from the Dallas Cowboys months ago, he's just been kicking back and watching games while live-tweeting his thoughts and interacting with fans.

Bryant, however, has other ideas for his 2018 team. Especially when it came to their attack through the air, which appeared limited at best, as Cole Beasley finished the day as the Cowboys' top target, with seven catches for 73 yards in a 16-8 loss to the Panthers. But Bryant went out to dispel any notion that this was a pitch or a plea to the Patriots to sign him.

The transportation service joins the likes of Bird and Lime, earlier startups that kickstarted the electric scooter-sharing trend. Landsman says there's consensus on council that safety is the number one issue when it comes to scooter operations.

The wideout added the Washington Redskins would be "cool as well".

The game ended, fittingly, with the Panthers defense sacking Dallas QB Dak Prescott and forcing a fumble.

"If I try to say something good or a factual it always turned out to be negative plus I don't want it to seem that's where I'm focused", he tweeted.
