Singer Ariana Grande blamed by internet trolls for ex-boyfriend's death

United States rapper Mac Miller, whose debut album Blue Side Park topped the charts in 2011 and who dated singer Ariana Grande for a time, has died at the age of 26.

Rapper Mac Miller was found dead at his home in Studio City, California, on Friday, two law enforcement sources told NBC News. The 26-year-old-rapper was found in his San Fernando Valley home and pronounced dead at the scene, according toTMZ. An autopsy will be required to determine the cause of death.

Miller released his latest album-Swimming-on August 3.

Some fans were quick to blame Grande, who announced her split from Miller in May after almost two years together, for his sudden death.

Known for songs like "Donald Trump" (2011), Miller has struggled with substance abuse and legal issues over the years.

In his recent Instagram post, Mac posted a video of a record player with his song So it Goes playing, with the lyrics: "Nine lives, never die, f**k a heaven, I'm still getting high". "Sending prayers for strength for his family, friends and fans during this hard time".

Last month Miller was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol after a May crash in which he crashed his vehicle into a power pole.

In 2015, he said: "I had a drug problem for a long time".

While writing: "I wish it started tomorrow", Mac's tour was originally supposed to start on the 17th October. "I can't imagine not waking up sometimes and being like, 'I don't feel like doing shit.' And then having days where you wake up and you feel on top of the world".

In a statement about her breakup with Miller, Grande said there were times when the "toxic relationship" took its toll.
