Possible Nokia 9 Smartphone Sighted; Sporting A Six-Camera Array

It is also unknown if this new Nokia device is the same device that photography start-up Light teased back in July. One thing which we're quite certain of is the best-in-class camera performance which HMD Global previously promised in their next flagship device. On the back, Nokia seems to have incorporated five camera shooters with a LED flash.

Through their partnership with Ziess Optics, HMD have equipped many of their smartphone with impressive and modern lens configurations. So far, the highest any phone has gone with camera sensors on the back is three, and it started with the Huawei P20 Pro. Today, the same camera setup has been leaked via another source.

If we had to venture an educated guess, their should be one standard RGB lens, then a monochrome one, like the Nokia 8 featured. This is the same design that appeared in sketches of a Nokia phone leaked earlier this year. HMD's Nokia 9 will likely feature a 5.9-inch display with QHD resolution (2K) and OLED technology. There was a possibility that this handset can be introduced during the IFA 2018 event held in Berlin, but this has not happened.

Preliminary reports talk about Nokia 9 sporting an iPhone X-like above the screen. Now rumors suggest that it will launch sometime later this year or early next year.
